Member-Created Product Descriptions: Ebay startet Produktwikis

Zusätzlich zum bereits bekannten, allgemeinen Ebay-Wiki hat Ebay in den USA jetzt Produktwikis für Einzelprodukte gestartet.

In der Ankündigung von heute heißt es:

"To give members more opportunities to share their product expertise, we're launching supplemental Member-Created Product Descriptions on a certain number of Product Detail Pages. (For an example, click here to see one for an iPod Shuffle MP3 player.)

Member-created Product Descriptions are based on wiki technology, which allows members to collaboratively contribute content.

For instance, if you're knowledgeable about the iPod Shuffle mentioned in the first paragraph, use this feature to provide information that other Community members can use to learn about the Shuffle."

Ebay schlägt damit einen ähnlichen Weg ein wie Amazon mit seinen Produktwikis. Hier die Liste der aktuellen Top-Wikis bei Amazon.
